Surprise! I write this article to give you some good things about the nursing homes. As my colleagues and I have the opportunity, many nursing homes and rehab centers and numerous hospitals and numerous other medical centers and sections, I can choose from a bird's eye view of something that is very important.

I write about the physical and occupational therapists - who are in nursing homes, hospitals and rehabilitation and nursing facilities. This is probably one of the good things that can happen to someone in a nursing home if they are able to access such care / education and training units. When residents were allowed to actually go to the physical therapy room, and if they are actually at their scheduled time with the therapists, the therapists worked hard and long hours to get the residents independence.

Even in the worst rehab center, the attitude and professionalism of physiotherapists and occupational therapists has never been in question. Those that I saw that working with patients, their jobs and their incomes to pay, every day. I observed therapists work hard to make people successful in the therapy. Most of them were polite, professional and hard-working, even in the most terrible rehab center. I must say that they and credit. These people were there to do a job, and they have done it. So the problems are not with that particular department within the nursing homes.

I was a therapist to help patients with wheelchairs, walkers and all types of mild sports. They went behind patients who are re-learning, the walkers for the first time. Patients in all types of rehab facilities interesting.

So, if the residents actually arrived, they could be good therapy, if it is there. The problem is the waiting period. And the wait is not the fault of the therapist, but it is the fault of the administration and the owners that are not true, the therapy that is required. How should patients who are on different devices and the equipment was not ready, then the patients with other devices.

Difference between good and bad centers:

In the bath centers, they had less than adequate equipment. And the ones they had, they are not enough. In the good centers, there were large equipment, and there was an adequate facilities so that patients do not wait for her life far away from the therapy.

In the bath centers, patients were told that the line on the elevators to the top and wait staff to get. The process was slow and painful. The residents waited their lives away. In the good centers, patients had very short waiting times, if available.

IN ALL the centers, both good and bad:

Most of the physical therapists were not damaged by the poor medical centers, but if they are long enough (in the bad seats), they will eventually ruin their reputation. In some places, it seems that the physical therapists are the only really care and the affected employees who are not from goofing. Most of the physical therapists that I saw, talked to or working with patients, the excellent care. These workers are educated, informed people who are obviously a real concern for the patients that they work. How they work, they improved day by day and that makes their work rewarded.

Once I saw a person who started out in one of the better advances nursing homes are unable to walk two inches to be able to walk for about twenty meters. So there is hope of progress and a good reason, to physical therapy sessions at such places, if you plug it as a patient. If you remember, in the physical therapy profession, it can be thoroughly investigated, and get all the information you can get on the schools of your location.
