Where you are on the Wellness Scale? Here is a short quiz that I think you will find enlightening.

The following are practices that are directly on the promotion of health and wellbeing. Circle those that you already do, and give you one point for every statement that you, yes. Then paste your results and see how healthy your life really is!

1. I exercise for an hour every day. (Enter two points if you have a personal trainer)
2. I think coffee intake to one cup per day
3. I eat three pieces of fruit per day. (Enter two points if they are organic)
4. I enjoy five serves of vegetables daily. (Two points for you if they are organic)
5. I eat seafood at least four times per week.
6. I eat legumes in some form almost every day. (Legumes such as beans are baked beans, chickpeas, lentils, etc.)
7. I believe moderate alcohol consumption on average one glass a day, and in small quantities at a time (ie not rush drinking seven glasses at a sitting!)
8. My holidays are planned so that I get regular time away from my usual routine.
9. I meditate to Tai Chi, or some other form of spiritual practice every day.
10. I visit my health doctor regularly to my health in peak condition.
11. I am about eight hours of good sleep every night and updated.
12. My weight is in the healthy range for my height.
13. I regularly learn new skills, to my mind active.
14. I have a period of unstructured relaxation times per week.

Now, add your results:

12 points or more: Well done! You are probably already in great health and better than most people in your age group. They are the kind of person that focuses on prevention and health maximizing your well-being.

5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Points: You can consider further steps, to improve your health, that they no long-term degeneration in your health. You could probably support the appropriate health practitioners to address specific issues.

0 to 4 points: Take a look at some of the responses where you said no. If you want to feel better than you currently do, you can get some new health practice in your life. You have probably forced to read this column by a loved one who complains about your wellbeing!

This quiz is a general course, but can help you get an insight into where the gaps between how you feel now and how healthy you really like the feeling.
