picture even at 65 or 70 years old. How do you see yourself? Do you have a lively, Energy elderly person, or do you see yourself in a bad state of health, which did not even walk up and down the stairs? I believe that most people hope to see someone with a lot of life left in them, I know that I did not. Just like saving for retirement, if you want to ensure good health in the coming years, you must the right investments now.

Too many people believe that the only reason for the care of himself now is to improve the way they look today. This is one of the advantages of living a healthy life, you are also creating good habits that will hopefully lasting your health on track. Others argue that it is not likely to change their diet or habits, because they are genetically blessed and not on weight easily, no matter what they eat. Outward appearances can deceive.

Do you think that the person you know who drives a nice car and has nice clothes. One could assume that they make good money and not have to worry about finances when it comes time to retire. But they could lease their nice car, or may be in so much debt they do not even know where to start. When it's time for that person to retire, they will not have the means to live for 15 or 20 years.

In the same way, those who do not care about their health will no longer be able to enjoy life later. Even if they do not live to see age, their health will not allow them to actively and fully with life.

There are small things you can do to your chances of good health in later life. Start by improving your diet. Studies have shown that people who participate in the Mediterranean diet of colorful fruits and vegetables, grains and healthy oils have the longest lifespan.

Obesity in people who have over 100 years old simply does not exist. If you plan to live this long, the work itself and keep the extra weight, especially in the abdomen, in which obesity contributes to heart disease, hypertension and diabetes.

The good news is, as well as savings for retirement, it is never too late, that more healthy. Determine a small step you can this week to improve your life and do it.
