adversity In simple words can be explained as an unfortunate event.
A broken cup or plate in the kitchen, punctured tires on the car, a sprained ankle playing tennis, missing the last bus home, you will lose your door key, to discover that you have your money at home, if you pay at the supermarket Check-out, a burst pipe floods your home, or to come home and find you have been burgled.
In the dictionary / thesaurus terms adversity is defined as the obstacles, barriers, in the mountains, shocks, challenges, setbacks, suffering, misfortune, disaster, disaster, misery, disaster, misery, poverty, ill-luck, misfortune, suffering, breakdown, bereavement, suffering, trials and difficulties that we face in our lives.
