Following some basic steps to improve your exercise regime, eating and sleeping, let's focus on awakening your mind, your work as a whole person, and you as a member of the community.
Mind
Do something to jump-start your thoughts. Read this book you skimmed milk powder in high school - or an interest in the book, your child is reading. Raid uses the local bookstore or library. Search free classes in your community or adult education class. Participate in an art class or learn a new skill, you could.
Activity
Inoculate yourself from isolation and the winter blues by you and get active now. Go to your local library or coffee shop and its on-board activities. If you are in a routine with your hobbies and activities, you are not alone - we are all creatures of habit and trying out new activities such as teeth can move. Solve these habits with this simple exercise: Take a local newspaper, especially on the day of the week, they list their social and entertainment listings (usually on Thursday). Find a pen or marker. Fang your inner critic and again that the censorship! Skim through the activities pages circling approaches Any activity which is also a little interesting for you. If you have only one district or two points, you did not disable that internal critics - go back and try again! If you have reached the page, go back and cross off activities can you absolutely not because of planning and costs. Look at what remains. Any surprises? Choose one or two activities, and write it on your calendar immediately (especially proud of you, if you identify activities that are very of the ordinary for you). Obligation to participate in one or two of them this week. Repeat next week.
Community
People are social animals and we live in groups. Re-connect with social activities that make sense for you, whether it be social groups, friends and family or strangers, and potential new friends. Church or a worship service that meets your spiritual needs. Go to a meeting in the community or in a book club. Whatever your interests, someone else is that the interest to have - go find them. At a dog-walkers group. Host a pot luck. Volunteer. Do it this week. Are you afraid no other - that's okay, take it with you (you are not alone with that either).
