The Daniel Fast is not only a strong spiritual experience, but the Daniel Fast food is also good for health. In this part quickly, many foods, including all foods with artificial chemicals or preservatives. Consequently, all artificial food coloring, preservatives are made of food for the fasting period, usually 10 to 21 days.
I receive many reports about improving the health of men and women when they are sober. Many decisions to make chemicals and preservatives, such as a change in their daily lives. That is the reason why a new study on the effects of artificial coloring and preservatives in the diets of children caught my eye.
The latest study was conducted by the UK Food Standards Agency and reported what many of us have suspected for a long time: artificial coloring and preservatives, food, children hyperactive.
Published in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet, the study is a breakthrough in which he confirmed that the effects of artificial additives on children in general and not only the diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which previous studies had.
The study was conducted by Jim Stevenson, professor of psychology at the University of Southampton, together with a team of researchers involved in a particularly rigorous, double-blind procedure. About 300 children, half of 3-year-olds and half of 8 - and 9-year-olds, was one of the two "test" drinks or a placebo over a period of six weeks. The amount of artificial coloring and preservatives in the test drinks were on the basis of current average daily consumption of food additives by British children. The parents of the children, teachers and a group of independent observers rated the children's behavior for behaviors such as interrupting, restlessness and change activities.
The study's authors concluded that the results provide strong support for the case that food additives increase hyperactive behaviors including inattention, impulsivity and activity in children at least until mid-childhood. Since hyperactive behavior affects the learning and especially with the improvement of reading literacy, food additives can have negative effects on children's educational development.
Artificial colors and preservatives, such as in the study which are not only in sweets but in a variety of breakfast cereals, soft drinks and other processed foods, and vitamins, toothpaste and over-the-counter drugs. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has in the past to public concerns about the safety of food additives by pointing out, because artificial color additives for use in food products are required on labels (eg, FD & C Yellow # 5 "), those who want to make sure that they can do. I hope that the current research and the search will be the watchdog organizations such as the USFDA, to focus more on food additives.
Meanwhile, you and I can stand our own by using the labels and not our children, grandchildren or even adults to consume artificial color and preservatives. Everything would be the brain and the thinking and behavior of children may not be good for everybody. . . either large or small.
No wonder people find better health, more energy, weight loss and even cures, if they have a 21-day Daniel Fast! It is a healthy diet for the whole person: body, mind and soul!
